Prescriptions may be written for up to 6 months when medically appropriate. A paid follow-up visit is required at least every 6 months for ongoing prescription treatment.

Why do refills require a visit?
Medical review is still required for dermatology prescriptions, even if they're just being refilled. The DocBright check-in is short and doesn't require any video calls. Your dermatologist reviews your progress and history before renewing.
How long can my prescription be written for?
Prescriptions may be written for up to 6 months when medically appropriate. After that, a paid follow-up visit is required to continue treatment.
